GYNEBAL ® Fertile Age Intimate Hygiene Gel incorporates Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia). Its primary active compounds include triterpenes (anti-inflammatories) and flavonoids. In addition, numerous scientific studies have demonstrated antiseptic, antifungal and antiviral properties.
The Intimate Hygiene Gel has a pH of 4.5 suitable for the physiological vaginal pH of women during their fertile stage.

Properties of Tea Tree Oil
Antifungal properties: scientific studies have shown that Tea Tree Oil is very effective in the treatment of infections caused by fungi, dermatophytes and yeasts. In particular it has been shown to prevent and help in the treatment of candidiasis caused by excessive growth of the fungus Candida albicans.
Antiseptic properties: the first scientific studies on the antiseptic properties of this oil appeared in the 40s. It has been shown to be effective against most of the bacteria that cause infections, such as E. coli.
